The Odessa Study Club recently kicked off the 2024-25 year with a football theme. Co-hostesses were President Alissa Goates and Cathi Boutin.
Members gathered at the ECISD Police Community Room for a presentation, “Things to Watch for in Our Community.” Ector County ISD Police Chief Jeff Daniels and Lieutenant Chancey Westfall shared information about school safety in ECISD. They also provided a video with tips on what we can do, as private citizens, to help keep Odessa a safe place for ourselves as well as our children.
An extra treat was meeting new interim ECISD school superintendent, Dr. Keeley Boyer.
