Girl Scouts of the Desert Southwest are honoring local women of distinction May 6.
The honorees are Ellen Boyd of Midland ISD, Kathy Harrison and Becky McCraney of Miss Cayce’s Wonderland, Andrea Quiroz of Odessa Links and Dr. Sandra Woodley of the University of Texas Permian Basin.
The event will be held at 6 p.m. May 6. The proceeds from this event help fund Girl Scout programming, including the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, enhance their four pillars (outdoors, STEM, life skills, and entrepreneurship), and support various Girl Scout activities and programs throughout the Council.
