A 14-year-old Midland girl who was struck by a vehicle while riding an electric skateboard Sunday night died Monday morning.
According to the City of Midland, the teenager was riding the skateboard in the 5500 block of Magellan Street when she was struck by a vehicle traveling west on Mockingbird Lane around 6:30 p.m.
The girl was taken Midland Memorial Hospital and later transferred to a hospital in Lubbock.
Following an investigation by the Midland Police Department, it was determined no citations or arrests will be made.
