GET PHIT Boot camp

Over the past two weeks, 28 select students have been participating in the GET PHIT Bootcamp, an intensive training for undergraduates who are interested in public health informatics.

An event is set for 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday in Room 1110 of the UTPB Science and Technology Building.

GET PHIT stands for “Gaining Equity in Training for Public Health Informatics and Technology.” The goal is to provide more effective ways to manage modern technology, increases the number of minority health professionals and train students in informatics and technology, and expand the public health workforce.
