The Federal Communications Commission Excess Telecom City and County of Andrews will be providing a tablet with one year internet connectivity to Andrews County residents who qualify from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at Andrews Business and Technology, 201 NW Avenue D, Andrews.
Connection fee is $20.
Qualifications: Recipient of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP- Food Stamp), Medicaid, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Federal Public Housing Assistance, Veterans and Survivors Pension Benefit, Income that is at or below 200% of the federal poverty level ($25,000), Students on Federal Pell Grant, Children who participate in the National School Lunch Program or the School Breakfast Program, including through the USDA Community Eligibility Provision. Title 1, Participates in Tribal specific programs, such as Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance, Tribal TANF, or Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations, Elderly on Social Security.
