One Objective Inc., a nonprofit organization, is hosting a Young Men’s Etiquette Lunch for approximately 50 Ector County ISD middle and high school students from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the MCM Elegante Hotel.
Special presenters will be Roy Williams, Permian High School graduate and former NFL wide receiver; Bradley Marquez, Odessa High School graduate and former NFL wide receiver; and Heather Valenzuela, former ECISD educator and professionalism adjunct professor at UTPB.
This event is one of many community events hosted by One Objective, Inc. which target the educational and emotional development of young men who are students in the Ector County Independent School District, with a focus on the students’ academic and social growth through mentorship, fellowship, and brotherhood, a news release said.
The purpose of this event is to teach middle and high school students lunch/dinner professional and networking skills through proper dining etiquette. This event is free to the students.
A meal will be provided to the students in conjunction with the etiquette presentation.
