The Odessa College Board of Trustees will meet in a work session at noon Tuesday to discuss purchase of stadium lights, Laerdal Simulation Manikins and truck driving program trailers.
Also on the agenda for the meeting in the Saulsbury Room of the Electronics Technology Building is monthly financial statements and budget amendments.
The Laerdal Simulation Manikins will be for the Wood Health Sciences Building currently under construction. Vice President of Administrative Services Ken Zartner said the mankins will allow students to get the patient experience. These manikins are “high sim” and can do a lot of things to simulate a real patient.
The trailers are for trucks OC purchased with the Permian Strategic Partnership grant to expand the truck driving program. The Permian Strategic Partnership announced a $3.5 million donation to the OC trucking program in January.
