The ECISD School Nutrition Department announced Thursday a change to its policy for serving meals to children served under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the 2022–2023 school year.
The Universal Free Feeding Program provides breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge.
The ability of Ector County ISD to offer this special alternative rests upon the success in receiving a completed application for free and reduced-price meals for the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program from the STEM Academy households.
