Several public hearings on appraised value limitations are scheduled during the Ector County ISD Board of Trustees meeting Tuesday.
The meeting is set for 6 p.m. in the first-floor board room of the administration building, 802 N. Sam Houston Ave.
The board will consider and possibly take action on a series of six applications for an appraised value limitation on qualified property under the Texas Economic Development Act, Texas Tax Code, Chapter 313 from 1PointFive P1, LLC.
The 1PointFive P1 project will be for direct air capture facilities that would manufacture industrial-grade carbon dioxide gas, supplemental agenda material said.
The board also will consider and take possible action on retaining school finance consultants, Culwell Consulting, to assist ECISD in processing and evaluating the financial impact of a series of the applications.
The board also will consider the same agreement on DG Penwell North, LLC, a 200 MW/AC solar energy generation project. The facility will be located within a proposed reinvestment zone in south-central Ector County and south-central Ector County Independent School District, the material said.

>> Recognition of All-State football honorees.
>> Recognition of George H.W. Bush New Tech Odessa Decathlon State Qualifier.
