The Ector County ISD Board of Trustees will meet in a workshop at 6 p.m. Sept. 10 in the board room of the administration building, 802 N. Sam Houston Ave.
Among the items on the agenda are:
- Public comment.
- Discussion of a Texas Association of School Boards policy update.
- Report and discussion of STAAR and End-of-Course exam data.
- Discussion of 2024-2025 ECISD Campus Improvement Plans.
- Possible request for approval to move to closed meeting – Consultations with attorney – Section 551.071 of the Texas Open Meetings Act [The Board will meet in closed session in consultation with the board’s attorney on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the Board under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with the requirement for open meetings.] (Discussion of an individual Board member’s authority and role in dealing with community inquiries and/or complaints.)
