ECISD will host the first of three Dropout Recovery Walks Thursday with the goal of raising awareness and supporting the efforts to get students re enrolled and back on track toward high school graduation.
Teams from Ector County ISD will be knocking on doors to visit with students and families, while others will be standing by at various locations. Tomorrow, Sept. 5, the location will be the Music City Mall between the hours of 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Volunteers will be available to help guide students through the re-enrollment process.
A second event will be held Saturday morning from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at ECISD’s Community Outreach Center, and a third is scheduled for 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 12 at Odessa College’s Saulsbury Campus Center.
