Ector County ISD will hold its annual convocation at 2 p.m. Aug. 6 at the Ector County Coliseum.
The convocation is an all-district rally to kick off the new school year.
A faculty choir will open the event singing the National Anthem, Superintendent Scott Muri will reflect on some of the accomplishments of the past few years, and then he will take a longer look at our district’s Portrait of a Graduate which outlines the knowledge, skills and experiences that every ECISD student should have upon graduation. He will do this through four feature stories on students, alumni, and families.
