The Globe Theatre at Odessa College invites you to audition digitally for its fall mainstage production.
This fall, The Globe at Odessa College brings to life the untold story of Arthurian Legend in an immersive, innovative, and wholly original experience all inspired by a poem, The Lady of Shalott.
Film yourself answering these five questions — and email your video to [email protected]:
- What is your name?
- Where do you find your feeling of home?
- Please share the story of a best or worst moment from your life.
- What is something about you that would surprise others?
- Why do you want to join The Globe’s acting ensemble for the fall?
Auditions are open to all members of the Permian Basin community.
Previous acting experience is not necessary.
The director is looking for passionate teammates eager to be challenged and hungry to grow into the very best of yourself.
Deadline to submit your digital audition is 5 p.m. Aug. 9.
In-person call-back date/time is noon to 2:30 p.m. Aug. 10.
Callbacks are ensemble-based, invitation-only and held inside The Globe Theatre.
The weekly rehearsal schedule will be Aug. 17-Nov. 6: Saturdays, 10:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and Mondays and Wednesdays, 6 p.m. to 9:45 p.m.
