A 55-year-old woman from Dayton, Texas, was killed in a one-vehicle crash Saturday night outside Midland.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Diana Dee Markham was traveling west on West County Road 127 when her GMC Canyon veered off the road to the right around 6:30 p.m. She over-corrected to the left and the vehicle skidded into a telephone pole and fence.
Markham, who wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, was thrown from the vehicle, according to DPS.
