ECTOR COUNTY FELONY DISPOSITIONS: September 27, 2021

The following is a list of felony dispositions from the Ector County District Clerk’s Office. Listed attorneys do not necessarily represent who was involved when the case was disposed. The prosecuting attorney was not listed unless otherwise stated.

ABANDON ENDANGER CHILD

Antonio Escobedo, Jr., 26, pleaded guilty to abandon endanger child with intent to return and was sentenced to 23 months in state jail in order adjudicating guilt. Judge W. Stacy Trotter approved the deal. BJ Brown was the attorney.

ASSAULT

Christopher Lee Castillo, 35, had an aggravated assault serious bodily injury (F2) charge dismissed Sept. 17. Judge Justin Low presided. Tony Chavez was the attorney.

John Alan Holett, 33, had an assault impede breathing FV charge dismissed Sept. 17. Judge Denn Whalen presided. Tony Chavez was the attorney.

ATTACK BY DOG

David Heileson, 50, pleaded guilty Sept. 16 to attack by dog resulting in serious bodily injury and was sentenced to four years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge Justin Low approved the deal. Jason Leach was the attorney.

Lisa Hathaway Wilk, 56, pleaded guilty Sept. 16 to attack by dog resulting in serious bodily injury and was sentenced to four years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge Justin Low approved the deal. Michael Louis McLeaish was the attorney.

BURGLARY

Brandon Lee Hungerford, 34, had a burglary of building charge dismissed Sept. 17. Judge John Shrode presided. Feliz Abalos was the attorney.

John Ray Aycock, 47, had six counts of burglary of a building charges dismissed Sept. 17. Judge Denn Whalen presided. Tony Chavez was the attorney.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

Marilyn Rosaura Armendariz, 28, pleaded guilty Sept. 16 to criminal mischief and was sentenced to two years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge Justin Low presided. D. Bret Mansur was the attorney.

CRUELTY NON-LIVESTOCK ANIMAL

Joanne Briones, 45, pleaded guilty Sept. 17 to two counts of cruelty non-livestock animal kill/poison/serious bodily injury and was sentenced to four years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge Justin Low approved the deal. Daniel Sarabia Jr. was the attorney.

DWI

Aimee Castillo, 28, had three counts of driving while intoxicated with child under 15 years of age charges dismissed Sept. 16. Judge Justin Low presided. Luke Garrett was the attorney.

ENGAGING IN ORGANIZED CRIMINAL ACTIVITY

Keshun Dibreonous Pardue, 24, had an engaging in organized criminal activity charge dismissed Sept. 17. Judge James Rush presided. Scott Layh was the attorney.

ENTICING A CHILD WITH INTENT FELONY

Ervin W. Mullins, 65, pleaded guilty Sept. 10 to enticing a child with intent felony and was sentenced to seven years in prison in an order adjudicating guilt. Judge W. Stacy Trotter approved the deal. Kevin Acker was the attorney.

EVADING ARREST

INDECENCY WITH CHILD SEXUAL CONTACT

Jonathan Jordan, 20, was acquitted by jury Sept. 15 on the charge of indecency with child sexual contact. Judge James Rush presided. Scott Layh was the attorney.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Derian Izahi Muniz, 23, was granted community dismissal and discharge Aug. 31 on the charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram. Judge W. Stacy Trotter presided. Israel P. Guardiola was the attorney.

Donavon Ray Ybarra, 27, had a possession of a controlled substance charge, less than one gram, dismissed Oct. 10. Judge Denn Whalen presided. Mike Holmes was the attorney.

Johnathan Cabrera, 22, had his probation amended Sept. 10 and on the charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, and was sentenced to two years and six months probation. Judge James Rush approved the deal. Tony Chavez was the attorney.

Stevan Edward Tarango, 37, was granted dismissal and discharge Sept. 17 on the charge of possession of a controlled substance, more than one gram, but less than 200 grams. Judge James Rush presided. Tony Chavez was the attorney.

Tanya Lynn Morris, 50, had a possession of a controlled substance charge, less than one gram, dismissed Sept. 16. Judge Denn Whalen presided. D. Bret Mansur was the attorney.

PROHIBITED SEXUAL CONDUCT
