ABANDON ENDANGER CHILD
Sergio Saenz, 35, pleaded guilty Sept. 17 to abandon a child with intent to return and was sentenced to 18 year in state jail in an order adjudicating guilt. Judge James Rush approved the deal.
ASSAULT
Carlos Daniel Rodriguez, 19, had an assault family/house member impede breath/circulation charge dismissed Sept. 17. Judge Justin Low presided. Stephen W. Spurgin was the attorney.
Christopher Lee Castillo, 35, pleaded guilty Sept. 17 to aggravated assault serious body injury (F2) and was sentenced to four years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge Justin Low approved the deal. Tony Chavez was the attorney.
John Paul Ramirez, 29, pleaded guilty Sept. 17 to aggravated assault date/family/house serious body injury and was sentenced to 60 years in prison. Judge John Shrode approved the deal.

BURGLARY
Brandon Lee Hungerford, 34, pleaded guilty Sept. 17 to burglary of habitation and was sentenced to nine years in prison. Judge John Shrode approved the deal. Feliz Abalos was the attorney.
DWI
Juan Daniel Guevara, 44, pleaded guilty Sept. 17 to driving while intoxicated third or more (F3) and was sentenced to five years probation and five years in prison. Judge John Shrode approved the deal.
Sammy Quiroz Ramos, 44, pleaded guilty Sept. 20 to driving while intoxicated 3rd or more and was sentenced to 1,134 days in prison. Judge James Rush approved the deal.
Sergio Abraham Lara Alvarado, 34, pleaded guilty Sept. 17 on two counts of driving while intoxicated with child under 15 years of age and was sentenced to three years probation and 15 months in prison (suspended). Judge John Shrode approved the deal. Tony Chavez was the attorney.

EVADING ARREST
John Ray Aycock, 47, pleaded guilty Sept. 17 to evading arrest detain with vehicle and was sentenced to 12 years in prison. Judge James Rush approved the deal.

FORGERY
Raevyn Mikayla Eve Hines, 26, pleaded guilty Sept. 17 to forgery financial instrument (SJF) and was sentenced to 201 days in prison in an order adjudicating guilt. Judge John Shrode approved the deal.
FRAUD

INDECENCY WITH CHILD SEXUAL CONTACT
Johnathan Villanueva, 23, pleaded guilty Sept. 15 to indecency with child sexual contact and was sentenced to four years in prison. Judge Justin Low approved the deal. J. Roxane Blount was the attorney.
MURDER
John Paul Ramirez, 29, acquitted by jury Sept. 17 on the charge of attempted capital murder. Judge John Shrode presided.
POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
Brooklyn Cate Presley, 25, pleaded guilty Sept. 17 to possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, and was sentenced to one year probation and deferred adjudication. Judge John Shrode approved the deal. Scott Layh was the attorney.
