Two unknown suspects are wanted by police after reportedly robbing an 11-year-old boy Wednesday night.
Officers were first called about the robbery at around 5:31 p.m. Wednesday in the 1900 block of Sunset Avenue, according to an Odessa Police Department news release.
Upon arrival, police made contact with the mother of the boy, who told them he was robbed by two unknown men, the release stated.
The boy was reportedly walking home from Crockett Middle School when he was approached by two adult men. Both of them grabbed the victim’s sweater and one of them said “give me everything you got.” They then took the victim’s cell phone, Bluetooth and house keys before fleeing, the release said.
OPD said no injuries were reported, but the victim told police he was in fear for his life.
Police described the first suspect as a Hispanic male wearing a red hoodie and black hat with Spanish words, around 5 feet and 10 inches tall with a medium build. The second suspect was described as a black man in a black hoodie and gray jeans; around 6 feet tall with a thin build.
