Beginning Monday, November 4, Crane Avenue will be closed to thru traffic, north of Clements Avenue, a City of Odessa news release said. Detours will be in place along West Clifford Street and South Washington Avenue. Traffic will also be reduced to one lane for east/westbound traffic along Clements Avenue.
The lane and road closures will be for Reece Albert (contractor for the City of Odessa). Crews will be working to replace the existing water and sewer infrastructure in this area as part of the Crave Avenue Reconstruction Project. Lane and road closures are expected to last up to three weeks.
Citizens are asked to follow all traffic control devices, use alternate routes if needed and expect delays while construction is in progress. For questions or concerns, citizens can contact the City of Odessa Engineering Division at (432)335-3242.
