The City of Odessa announced on Thursday that offices will be closed Monday for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Trash will not be picked up on Monday. Customers with roll out carts normally serviced on Monday can expect service Tuesday. Customers with roll out carts normally serviced on Tuesday can expect service on Wednesday.

To avoid an overflowing accumulation of trash and debris in dumpsters, the City of Odessa is asking citizens to recycle items at the Odessa Recycle Center, which is located 816 West 42nd Street. Drop off windows for cardboard, plastics, paper, aluminum and tin cans are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week
The City of Odessa is also asking to not dispose of Christmas trees in the alley. Christmas trees can be disposed of at the HHW facility, located at 814 West 42nd Street.
