A 31-year-old Brownwood man died in a two-vehicle collision in the 6000 block of East I-20, an Odessa Police Department press release detailed.
The reported fatal collision happened at 11:50 p.m. Tuesday.
Investigation showed that a white 2022 Dodge Ram 2500 pulling a trailer was traveling eastbound in the 6000 block of E I-20.
A blue 2013 Kenworth pulling a Wabash box trailer was also traveling eastbound in the 6000 block of E I-20 ahead of the Dodge.
The driver of the Dodge, later identified as 31-year-old Daniel Solis of Brownwood, struck the rear of the Wabash trailer. Solis was pronounced dead at the scene and next of kin have been notified. The press release stated other occupants of the Dodge were transported to Medical Center Hospital for treatment.
The investigation continues.
