Black Cultural Council of Odessa has scheduled “An Evening with the Stars” Banquet, as part of Black History Month, from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Saturday at the Odessa Regional Medical Center Auditorium, 515 Adams Ave.
Guest speaker will be Thalia M. Dubose, owner and lead attorney for the Law Office of Thalia M. Dubose.
The banquet recognizes the young stars in the community. Each February, BCCO awards African American Youth Scholarships to a deserving student.
