Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a 15-year-old girl who has been missing since early December and might be in the Lamesa area.
Chuck Fleeger, executive director of the Amber Alert Network Brazos Valley, said Hannah Joan Vandiver left her legal guardians in College Station on Nov. 27 and again Dec. 3 and she’s believed to be with people who could place her in danger of death or serious bodily injury.
“Based on information we have, we believe she’s probably in West Texas. She has ties to biological family members she shouldn’t be with,” Fleeger said, declining to elaborate.
Vandiver is 5 feet tall, 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
