A City of Odessa press release detailed that two firefighters were taken to a local hospital for evaluation due to heat related injuries.
The house fire reportedly happened around 1 p.m. Thursday in the 1300 block of Redbud Avenue.
When OFR arrived, crews found a two-story home 50% involved, the press release stated. The occupants of the home made it out safely. The home, however, has major damage.
OFR Fire Marshal’s Division is investigating the cause of the fire.
