Two Midland residents were killed in a hit-and-run crash late Sunday night.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling west on University Boulevard when the driver failed to yield the right of way to a motorcycle while turning left onto Sycamore Street around 10:30 p.m.
The driver of the Harley Davidson, Kristofer Goodrum, 40, and his passenger, Jessica Goodrum, 38, who were not wearing helmets, were pronounced dead at the scene, DPS stated.
The driver of the Chevy fled from the scene and has not been identified.
DPS investigators would like to speak with the registered owner of the Chevy.
