Midland Police are searching for two suspects allegedly involved in a stabbing that took place early Sunday morning in south Midland.
MPD reported that at 3:16 a.m. Aug. 11, officers responded to a stabbing at the Executive Inn, 1000 S. Midkiff Road.
“The caller, also the victim, stated he had been stabbed in his neck and the actors had left the scene,” MPD reported. “Officers arrived on scene and conducted first aid. EMS arrived on scene and transported the victim to (Midland Memorial Hospital).”
MPD reported that officers were able to gather suspect and vehicle information while on scene. After the victim was stabilized at MMH, he provided a statement.
Later Sunday, patrol officers located the black Ford pickup truck.
“Patrol officers were able to secure a search warrant for the vehicle,” MPD reported. “Patrol officers towed the vehicle to a secure location and processed the vehicle with the assistance of Midland Police Department’s CSI.”
The investigation is ongoing.
