The United Way of Odessa elected new board officers and members on Jan. 27.
Jason Osborne, ECISD Chief Innovation Officer, will serve as Board President for 2022-2023, while Stephanie Cavazos, ATMOS Account Manager, will serve as President Elect.
Nine new members from diverse sectors of the community also joined the mission and will serve a 3-year term.
The United Way of Odessa Board of Directors includes 33 members.
United Way Board of Directors are committed and dedicated individuals who are passionate about the community. They provide countless hours to help United Way continuously improve and grow.
In addition, on March 1, a new Executive Director, Christina Escobar was welcomed. Escobar has been with United Way since 2013 and has managed Community Impact while also preparing to lead the organization for many years.
United Way of Odessa’s focus areas are Health, Education and Self Sufficiency.
The service region encompasses nine counties and 40 zip codes and financially supports 19 local agencies and 27 service programs.
