The Ector County Library is excited to have a fruitful cooperative partnership with the Odessa College LRC (Learning Resources Center) and lending their students some of their T-Mobile devices from the checkout program, a news release said.
The devices include Chromebooks, 5G and 4G hotspots, and Samsung tablets. The library is currently lending out close to 100 devices to Odessa College LRC students and demand is currently at capacity with an active waiting list.
The Ector County Library was first established in 1938. It is free and open to the public, serves all ages, has an extensive collection of 200,000 print books, over 20,000 e-books, nearly 100 databases and serves a population of over 160,000 people locally and regionally.
