The Odessa Police Department Honor Guard recently paid a tribute to Sgt. Ramon Gutierrez with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
He was fatally struck by a suspected drunk driver while he was conducting a motorcycle escort in January.
He served with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office for 20 years and is survived by his wife and three children.
