During the recent 2021 Juneteenth Celebration Home Town Hero program the Black Cultural Council of Odessa awarded 14 local graduates with a $400 Scholarship. Roy Williams, Permian High School standout, University of Texas Graduate and former NFL player with the Detroit Lions and the Dallas Cowboys served as one of the panelist. He announced during the event that RDUB Trucking, his company would award each student with an additional $1,000 scholarship.
