Vote for the best ‘rita at the West Texas Margarita Festival

MIDLAND The West Texas Margarita Festival, presented by Texas Festivals, will be at Fair to Midland, 1115 Tradewinds Blvd., in Midland, from noon to 6 p.m. Sept. 14.

Margarita lovers can go around and sample more than eight margaritas from West Texas’ best bars and restaurants and vote for their favorite.

Here’s how it works:

  • Purchase a sampling ticket at www.TexasFests.com
  • Receive a margarita sampling card and voting chip upon entry.
  • Go around to eight-plus booths and sample over eight margaritas from various restaurants.
  • Drop a voting chip in your favorite margarita’s voting jar.
  • The jar with the most chips will be crowned “Best Margarita in West Texas!”

In addition to offering a margarita lover’s dream lineup, the festival will have street tacos, food trucks, an adult playground, live DJ and plenty of market vendors, so guests can fiesta like there’s no mañana all day long.

One lucky party-goer will win an all-inclusive trip to Mexico. Every Sampling Ticket purchased gives you one entry, every VIP ticket gives you two entries and additional raffle tickets are $5 with 100 percent of the proceeds going towards Children’s Charities. The winner will be drawn at 6:15 p.m.
