TTUHSC to name physician assistant studies program in honor of Midland leaders

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) will host a ceremony and reception to celebrate the naming of the Nadine and Tom Craddick Physician Assistant Studies Program at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 15 at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center PA Building, 3600 N. Garfield St., Midland.

During the 86th legislative session in 2019, Craddick helped secure $20 million in state funding that enabled the TTUHSC School of Health Professions Physician Assistant Studies Program to undertake a $30 million expansion that broke ground in 2021, a news release said. Nadine and Tom Craddick have been instrumental in establishing and nurturing the program since its inception in 1997. Their dedication and efforts have enabled TTUHSC to rise to the challenge of expanding access to high-quality, patient-centered health care for communities in Midland and beyond.
