Medical Center Hospital is hosting a hiring signing/celebration event with two Ector County ISD 2024 graduates and one Monahans-Wickett-Pyote ISD 2024 graduate at noon Sept. 19.
The event will take place at Medical Center Hospital, 500 W. Fourth St., in the right lobby of main admitting.
“Please join us as we celebrate the success of our students who completed their Texas Certified Nursing Assistant certifications in May and have completed the hiring process and are now a part of the medical professional team at MCH. We are excited about growing our own workforce right here in Odessa,” a district news release said.
Last week, ECISD received an award from the Mexican American School Board Association (MASBA) for Outstanding Workforce Development Initiative involving this collaboration between the school district and local employers.
