Education Partnership of the Permian Basin is proud to launch the Permian Basin Innovation Zone (PBIZ). This ground-breaking collaborative is dedicated to expanding opportunity for rural students in the Permian Basin, a press release said.
McCamey ISD, Buena Vista ISD, Grandfalls-Royalty ISD, and Crane ISD, in partnership with Odessa College, Midland College, and the Education Partnership of the Permian Basin, have formed a collaborative aimed at leveraging resources and expanding shared college and career pathways to provide an outstanding education for rural students.
A press conference will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 17, at Region 18 ESC, Conference Room A/B, 2811 La Force Blvd., Midland, to share information about this exciting program, which is the first in the state to launch following the passage of HB2209. Featured speakers include college, school system and campus leaders, along with students and teachers.
