Show off your talent at the 2024 Permian Basin Fair & Expo’s Talent Show. The competition is a great opportunity to perform before a live audience, gain exposure, and win a cash prize. The preliminaries will be held at the Music City Mall at 1:00 p.m. August 10. Check-in will begin at noon. The finals will be held Saturday, September 7, at 7:00 p.m. at the Ector County Fairgrounds during the fair’s run.
Last year’s talent show was full of outstanding performers, including singers and dancing groups. The grand overall winner was Amanda Valdez Gomez, whose vocals took top honors.
Competitions are divided into 2 age groups: 12 & under and 13 & over. The competition category is determined by the age of the oldest member in the act, including accompaniment. A grand prize winner will receive $500 and a trophy. 1st place winner in each category will receive $150, 2nd place $100, and 3rd place $50.
