The 2023 Permian Basin Fair & Expo Talent Show is open for entry. The competition is a great opportunity to perform before a live audience, gain exposure, and win a cash prize.
The preliminaries will be held at the Music City Mall on August 12 at 12:00 p.m. Check-in will begin at 11:00 a.m. The finals will be held Saturday, September 9, at 7:00 p.m. at the Ector County Fairgrounds during the Fair’s run.
Last year’s Talent Show was full of outstanding performers, including singers and dancing groups. The grand overall winner was Al Fellers, whose vocals took top honors.
Competitions are divided into 2 age groups: 12 & under and 13 & over. The competition category is determined by the age of the oldest member in the act, including accompaniment. A grand prize winner will receive $500 and a trophy. First place winner in each category will receive $150, 2nd place $100, and 3rd place $50.
The deadline to submit your entry is Saturday, August 12, by 11:00 a.m. Entry forms and full guidelines are available at pbfair.com. The Permian Basin Fair and Expo is set to run from September 1-10.
