The Odessa Police Department invites the public to register for the 2024 National Night Out scheduled for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 1. The deadline to sign up is 5 p.m. Sept. 27.
National Night Out aims to:
- Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness
- Generate support for and participation in local anti-crime partnerships
- Send a message to criminals that neighborhoods are organized and actively fighting back
