Life is a movie, film drug free

“Life is a movie, film drug free” is Ector County ISD’s theme for Red Ribbon Week, which will kick off Monday, October 28, with a community celebration at 10 a.m. in the parking lot of ECISD’s Administration Building, 802 N. Sam Houston. School district leaders, city leaders, and non-profit agency leaders — all with a critical interest in the future of our youth — will be part of the kickoff. Permian High School’s Color Guard, Drumline and Panther Paws will add to the pageantry.

Red Ribbon Week reinforces ECISD’s commitment to promoting drug-free lifestyles and substance abuse prevention in our community. With local leaders and students involved, the event highlights the importance of educating young people about the dangers of drug use and empowering them to make healthy choices. The community’s participation and support in this event emphasizes a collective stand against substance abuse, making it a significant moment for fostering a safer, drug-free future for our students.
