The Ector County Library welcomes your family, friends and neighbors to the annual Summer Reading Wrap Up from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Aug. 2, starting with the 1st ever Car Meet at 4 p.m. in the parking lot.
Featuring classic cars from some auto aficionados in the Permian Basin and food trucks Papaya Mexican Tacos and Sweet Traveler Patisserie outside; take home craft in children’s department (3rd floor); board games in southwest/genealogy plus origami & book exchange in teen department (2nd floor); snacks and drinks (1st floor); coloring (activity room in basement), prizes and more.
It’s a First Friday ODTX open house for the entire community. It is free and all ages are welcome.
