MIDLAND The English & Language Arts Department at Midland College would like to invite you to attend the awards ceremony for the 2023 Rebecca T. Watson Creative Writing Contest.
The awards ceremony will be held Feb. 6 at the Wagner & Brown Auditorium in the Allison Fine Arts Building, 3600 N. Garfield St., Midland. The awards ceremony will begin at 4 p.m. and conclude by 5 p.m.

The winners will be announced after finalists read brief excerpts from their submissions.
Midland College began the creative writing contest in 1975, and in 2012, the contest was renamed in honor of former MC English Professor Rebecca Watson, who passed away in 2021.
