Florida Man: Maybe we should look into early years of historical figures more

Florida Man has been wondering why we know so little about the early years of historical figures.
Napoleon was born in Corsica. His father was a lawyer, yes there have always been lawyers, and his mother was a strong-willed austere woman. He was patriotic and loved Corsica but went to school in France where he had trouble with the language.
As a child he went to the local tavern with his father to keep an eye on him for his mother. He was good at arithmetic which helped him in his military career.
Then he conquered Italy, Spain, Austria and most of Europe. The rest is history.
Which brings up the question, what do we know about Florida Man?
Most of you know that my brother Larry and I were the children of poor but honest parents.
Our father was a jeweler, hence we wear no jewelry, and out mother was a homemaker. We grew up in Kansas City and Wichita.
We did not go to Jerusalem for Passover; we did ask the four questions but we didn’t recline while eating because we didn’t have recliners.
As kids, we played kick the can and rode bikes, fell off and skinned our knees and elbows. We ate liver and onions, pickled pigs feet, tongue with peas and carrots and PB&J sandwiches but no broccoli that I recall.
We had friends and went to elementary and high school. We both went to college and then went on with our lives.
If you want to know more you have to ask.
