I have known about the Texas Pastor’s Council out of Houston for several years. They do not have a local chapter. I’m as deep red conservative as they come and this group gives me the creeps.
They have suggested talking points for Odessa pastors along with a time line to make those announcements. They provide timelines for announcements in church bulletins and text/email blasts. They also have a slick voters guide for our LOCAL elections they want pastors to pass out in our churches.
They are trying to divide our churches! My righteous anger is at a boiling point. I pray that those guides do not show up in a single church in this town.
Our churches should be seeking lost souls for Christ, not votes for mayoral candidates.
