Literary Death Match set for Oct. 17

Literary Death Match is set for Oct. 17 at the Copper Rose Building, 415 N. Grant Ave.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the event is at 7 p.m.

What is Literary Death Match?

It’s an electrifying night where talented authors go head-to-head in a live storytelling competition, judged by a panel of literary experts.

Expect fierce performances, creative wordplay, and plenty of surprises! The night wraps up with a final showdown, and only one author will be crowned champion.

Authors Jeramey Kraatz, Richard Santos, Elizabeth Wetmore, and Jonathan Pizarro, will face off in a fierce storytelling competition. Judges Becka Oliver, James Wade (2022 champ), and a mystery judge, will be there to make the tough calls.

Typewriter Rodeo will also be on hand and there will be book signings with the authors.

The event is ages 18+ due to language.
