Second Annual Buckin’ K Bull Bash set

The 2nd Annual Buckin’ K Bull Bash is set to bring non-stop excitement to the Ector County Coliseum’s Horse Arena on Saturday, October 19. The event, organized by Buckin’ K, promises a night of top-tier bull riding competition, offering attendees a thrilling rodeo experience.

After the overwhelming success of last year’s inaugural event held on private property, it was clear that the Buckin’ K Bull Bash needed a larger venue to accommodate its growing fan base. This year, the Ector County Coliseum is excited to host the event, offering an even bigger and better experience for rodeo fans of all ages.

Bull riders from across the region will compete for the coveted title of Buckin’ K Bull Bash champion, along with $5,000 in cash and prizes.

“We’re excited to bring the Buckin’ K Bull Bash to the Coliseum,” media contact Kinslee Looney said in a news release. “We’ve grown so much, and this year’s event will be even more exciting for the riders and the fans.”

Before the bull rides, guests can enjoy the vendor market and watch the costume celebrity steer riding. Bring your lawn chairs because you’ll want to head down to the floor after the bull rides to end the night with live music and dancing.

Doors open at 5 p.m., Bull Riding starts at 7 p.m., and live music will follow bull rides.

Tickets are $10 (available at the gate only); free for children 8 and under.

The Buckin’ K Bull Bash began in 2023 as a small, private bull-riding competition. After outgrowing its original location, the event moved to the Ector County Coliseum, attracting more spectators and riders each year. With $5,000 in cash and prizes on the line, the Buckin’ K Bull Bash continues to establish itself as a must-see event in West Texas.
