The Texas Department of Transportation issued a traffic alert Thursday for I-20 at Loop 338.
Beginning October 8, a contractor will be setting barriers on IH 20 Eastbound over ELP 338. The eastbound lane will remain closed for approximately four weeks while this work is completed.
Additionally, please be aware that the loop will be closed to north and south traffic on Friday, October 11, through Sunday, October 13. TxDOT anticipates having traffic restored by Sunday evening, October 13.
East and west frontage road traffic will continue to flow, but north and south traffic will need to make right turns to travel east or west. Please plan your routes accordingly and drive safely.
