UTPB sophomore goalkeeper Valeria Delgado was named the LSC Goalkeeper of the Week, the conference announced.
Delgado became the second Falcon in program history to be named a Player of the Week in the Lone Star Conference and the first at goalkeeper.
Tatiana Leggiero was named the LSC Offensive Player of the Week last year.
Delgado had one shutout and three saves to lead an unbeaten start in LSC play.
Delgado’s shutout came on the road against Oklahoma Christian in the Falcons’ first win over OC in 10 years.
It was also the first time the Eagles have been shut out this season.
UTPB will face Dallas Baptist at 11 a.m. Saturday at home.
