The Davidson Distinguished Lecture Series presents a lecture by José Hernández, former migrant farmworker turned NASA astronaut, barrier-breaking engineer, entrepreneur, and inspiration for the Amazon Prime film “A Million Miles Away” from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 12.
The event, An Evening with Jose Hernandez – ‘Reaching for Your Own Stars: A Recipe to Succeed in Life,’ will be at the Al G. Langford Chaparral Center. The event is free for general admission seating.
The evening is presented by The Davidson Distinguished Lecture Series and organized by the Midland College Foundation.
This kicks off Hispanic Heritage Month.
