MARFA Ballroom Marfa will be holding a free film screening of “One Day in the Life of Noah Pigattuk” next week at the Marfa Public Library.
The event is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. March 16 and is opened to the public.
The film is directed by Zacharias Kunuk of Isuma, an Inuit collective of media platforms that produce and distribute Inuit-language films and media art by and for indigenous peoples.
The film opened at the Canadian Pavilion of the 2019 Venice Biennale.
The screening is a part of the group exhibition “Ecstatic Land” which is currently on view at Ballroom Marfa until May 7.
Closing celebrations for Ballroom Marfa’s current exhibitions will take place May 6-7.
