Three arrested in connection to seized meth

Odessa Police Department detectives seized more than 200 grams of methamphetamine during an investigation Thursday and made three arrests.

According to an OPD report, the department’s intelligence unit executed a search warrant in the 2200 block of East 46th Street and found 182.4 grams of meth, digital scales and baggies.

During the course of their investigation, detectives determined David John Madrid, Hanna Mae Rodgers and Rito Alexander Suniga conspired with each other to deliver methamphetamine, the report stated.

Madrid and Rodgers were arrested at the 46th Street residence and Suniga was arrested near North Grandview and East 52nd Street with 22.7 grams of meth, the report stated.

All three were booked into the Ector County jail on suspicion of manufacturing/delivery of a controlled substance, a first-degree felony punishable by five years to life in prison.

No bail has yet been set for the trio, but they are also being held by the U.S. Marshal’s Service.
