The Midland RockHounds will return to the road this week to face the Amarillo Sod Poodles in Texas League Action.
The RockHounds will begin this week’s series with a 7:05 contest Tuesday at Hodgetown.
Midland enters this week carrying a 21-24 record overall and is currently third in the Texas League South Division standings.
Amarillo (20-25) sits one place behind the RockHounds.
Midland is coming off a 3-1 win over the Northwest Arkansas Naturals on Sunday. The RockHounds ended up going 2-4 in last week’s series.
Amarillo is coming off a 5-3 loss to the Arkansas Travelers on Sunday.
This will be the third series between Midland and Amarillo this season with the RockHounds winning the first series and the both teams splitting the second.
