The West Texas Food Bank will host Empty Bowls starting at 11 a.m. Sunday in the Mesa courtyard at University of Texas Permian Basin. Doors will open at 11 a.m.
The event will run until 2 p.m.
The handmade and glazed bowls have been prepared by artists and students from Odessa College, Midland College, University of Texas Permian Basin, Ector County ISD, Trinity School of Midland, and with the help of Pots and Prints, a news release stated. The release detailed the Food Bank is grateful for the involvement of Odessa Arts and the Midland Arts Council.
Entry to the event is $15 and includes a pick of a hand-made bowl and soups provided by The Garlic Press, Murray’s Deli and Catfish & Co. Sponsor tables for eight are available for $500 (limited availability). Public parking is available in the Devonian and Library parking lots. Please enter through breezeway between the Library and Mesa buildings.
Access will not be available through the Mesa building.
